Chicago Blackhawks Top 10 Prospects List For Summer 2017

8. Henri Jokiharju, defenseman
Although Jokiharju didn’t make a ton of noise at prospect camp, you could tell the tools are there. I noticed he would often shake his head after a play that didn’t go the way he thought it would.
Coming over from Finland, there is a learning curve and he definitely gets a pass. His shot from the point is impressive for an 18-year-old, and his defensive awareness could’ve matched any other D-man in camp.
He will return to the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks and continue to develop with a great organization. In a couple years, Jokiharju will be much higher on this list, if not at the top.
