You might notice a fair amount of shift in the middle portion of these rankings, yet the Sens stay put. Why? Because they were so boring I forgot they existed. At least Mike Hoffman is neat to watch, and Erik Karlsson is the best defenseman in the league today. That’s just not enough to make this team more than “meh,” despite its surprise postseason run earlier this year.
