It’s hard (read: impossible) to say this team got better in the offseason, but it’s nothing a star-studded top six and Vezina-caliber goaltender can’t fix. Even in hockey’s toughest division from last season (probably still will be this season), this team still has enough to contend out of the East. But can the seemingly team-wide mental block of constant underachievement be set aside?
