Also not what a lot of Blackhawks fans want to see, though I personally don’t dislike the Preds as much as I dislike some other teams. Simply put, the Preds underachieved throughout the 2016-17 regular season and finally found their footing at the perfect moment. And that footing should be the norm for them moving forward, because they didn’t lose much of anything and are over-the-moon confident. Pekka Rinne‘s age and hip problems are the big concern.
