Let’s allow the Golden Knights to enjoy time out of the NHL power rankings basement, because there’s a good chance the team winds up there again very soon. Vegas has already collected seven preseason points, tied for second-most in the Pacific. You just know, though, that a scoring surge that’s led by the names Brad Hunt, Tomas Hyka and Tyler Wong can’t possible sustain itself through an 82-game season.
