Jack Eichel said earlier this offseason that since Buffalo hasn’t gone to the playoffs of late, that means he hasn’t been good on the ice. Well, he has four points in three preseason games and the Sabres have just three across five games. So, probably not all his fault. And the preseason failure isn’t the fault of goaltenders Linus Ullmark (.956/1.48) and Robin Lehner (.917/2.42), either.
