No. 8 – Ottawa Senators

Previous: No. 16

The Sens lost their first couple games by a single goal, but have exploded in their last two games by scoring six goals against Calgary and Edmonton.  And now they get the most dynamic player in the NHL back on the ice in Erik Karlsson.  The Sens had a great season last year, and it’s possible they can get back to the Eastern Conference finals yet again.  They lost defenseman Mark Methot, but hopefully top prospect Thomas Chabot can be plugged right in.  Do not sleep on the Sens this year.  And don’t ever sleep on Craig Anderson. I think we all learned our lesson last year.
