NHL Power Rankings: Vegas Playing For More Than Just Hockey

No. 4 – Los Angeles Kings
Previous: No. 23
Last season was one to forget for captain Anze Kopitar. The star centerman scored just 12 goals and had his lowest point total since 2012. But this year he seems to have his Kings back on track. He, Jeff Carter and Drew Doughty look to get L.A. back in the playoffs this year, where it belongs after a couple of rough seasons. Jonathan Quick looks sharp in the crease this year after spending time on injured reserve most of last last season. With a new head coach behind the bench, the Kings are looking to play faster and more offensively than in years past.
