Ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights, we talked to an expert fan of the NHL’s newest franchise

After a somewhat lackluster win against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night, the Blackhawks got two full days off before their first ever matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night

Whether the extra time off will help them or give them too much time to enjoy the finer things in Sin City, we will have to find out. But waiting for them is a Golden Knights team that was predicted by many to be a bottom-feeder, yet they currently stand with a 6-1-0 record. The Blackhawks will need to be ready to play a full sixty minutes in this one, so let’s hope they haven’t had too much fun at the, uh, buffets.

In anticipation of the matchup, we talked to fellow FanSided writer Michael Joubran about the game, his thoughts on the start of the Golden Knight’s season, and got perspective on how a non-Blackhawks fan sees the team.
