Is this finally their year? They are leading the league in points to start the year, mainly because they have the two league leaders in points (Steven Stamkos with 18 and Nikita Kucherov with 16). Stamkos is also leading the league in assists with 15, and Kucherov is leading the league in goals with 10. They have made some bold trades in the past year, but as long as they can stay largely injury free, those moves might just put them at the next level.
