No. 29. Edmonton Oilers

Previous: No. 26

Here’s another head-scratcher.  Many penciled in the up-and-coming Edmonton Oilers in this year’s Stanley Cup, but they have been slow out of the gate.  With just four points on the year, the Oilers have been very disappointing at home going 1-3-0 so far.  Leon Draisaitl was injured and has missed a few games, but Connor McDavid seems to be the only one giving solid contributions.  If the Oilers want to be an elite team, they’ll need to starting playing with some urgency every night, not just in games where they’re under the spotlight against top teams.
