The Sharks are just two seasons removed from their Stanley Cup run, and who would’ve guessed they would in the bottom half of the standings to start the 2017 season. They are 3-4-0 with losses already to the Flyers, Kings and the Islanders twice. Maybe the loss of longtime veteran Patrick Marleau had significant impact on the team, but they still have a handful of young stars to lean on. One of those stars is Brent Burns, who can’t continue being on the ice for goals, currently posting a plus/minus of minus-8.
