The Flyers have nearly the same record as the team right behind them in the rankings, the Canucks, at 8-8-2. The Flyers are very hot and cold, beating a very good team like the Blues one night and then losing to the Avalanche two nights later.

They may be playing right around .500 hockey all year, and right now that puts them right in the middle of the pack in power rankings.
