1. Tampa Bay Lightning

Previous: No.1

The well-oiled machine that is the Tampa Bay Lightning keep rolling and stay atop the rankings this week after winning their fourth straight game on Sunday against the Anaheim Ducks.  They went 3-0 on their recent road trip out west with their other victories against the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings.

The two-headed monster that is Steven Stamkos (31 points, 8G, 23A) and Nikita Kucherov (30 points, 16G, 15A), lead the league in points with the next closest person being Winnipeg’s Blake Wheeler at 23 points.

The Lightning play just three games over the next 11 days, all at home.  I wouldn’t want to be any of those three teams facing them at home with plenty of rest … oh, the Blackhawks are the third team on that list, at Tampa Bay on the 22nd.

Sigh …
