10. Pittsburgh Penguins

Previous: No. 11

The Penguins are one of the harder teams to figure out. They are still stacked and have one of the best rosters in the league, but the long seasons may be catching up to them. While they have still tallied an 11-8-3 record through 22 games, they are a minus-16 in goal differential on the yea,r having lost by six goals or more three different times this year.

If you take away those three ugly nights, the team is 11-5-3 and a plus-5 in goal differential this year, so don’t be fooled by the pedestrian-looking stats. They are still very much a threat if they can stay healthy and have the energy for a long run in the spring.
