Just Tuesday did the Devils get bumped out of the Metropolitan’s top spot. The last-place team in the East in 2016-17 is just soaring with its mix of incoming young talent and veteran stability. I really don’t know that it can last, but it’s definitely one of the better stories in the league right now.
