The Sabres came close to what would’ve been a real nice win on the road against the Chicago Blackhawks last week, but it was not meant to be. The squad also managed overtime in St. Louis, most recently, so either Buffalo’s opponents are taking it super lightly or the Sabres are finding some life. Leaning toward the former.
