25.  Colorado Avalanche

Previous: No. 26

The Avs had a tough time without captain Gabriel Landeskog, who was suspended for three games earlier this month.  But they have seen an emergence from former No. 1 overall pick Nathan MacKinnon.  MacKinnon has six points in his last five games and has put some nice goals on film.  The Avs will be without another one of their leaders in Erik Johnson, who is also serving a suspension.
