Chicago Blackhawks Patrick Kane became the 5th Chicago Blackhawks to hit the 300 goal milestone when he scored in the 2nd period tonight against the New Jersey Devils.

The List only has 5 names on it, so it’s pretty impressive that Patrick Kane made the list in his 775th career game.

Here is the List

Bobby Hull-609

Stan Mikita-541

Steve Larmer-406

Denis Savard-377

Patrick Kane-300

If you weren’t watching the second period because the Chicago Blackhawks were already down 3-0 and you had Christmas activities planned no one would blame you. So here’s what #300 looked like tonight.

Patrick Kane is having an alright season so far having picked up the #1 Star of the NHL last week, and now has 15 goals and 20 assists in 35 games this season, so he’s not really hit a hot streak, but he’s still playing at his normal point per game clip that he’s been at for most of his career.

You can say that he’s missed Artemi Panarin, but Nick Schmaltz has been getting closer to finding that scoring bond with Kane.

There are tons of goals that are way more important than a goal in New Jersey two nights before Christmas throughout Patrick Kane’s career, but this one will have a special place for him I’m sure.

Kane has 2 more milestones that he should be able to reach this season.  Kane is 13 assists away from hitting 500 career goals, and he’s 13 points away from 800 for his career.

Hopefully, Kane and company will be able to find a way to score two more goals in the third period to tie up this contest, so that this milestone night won’t be part of a Chicago Blackhawks loss.

Next: Corner Not Turned Quite Yet

There is still time for the Hawks to get back in this, but if they don’t Congrats to Patrick Kane for picking up Goal #300!
