Still arguably one of the most underrated goalies in the NHL, Crawford continues to put up numbers that are among the league’s best. Even with two separate stints being injured this year, he’s still among the top 10 in goalie statistics.
He’s had to be the guy in between the pipes this year, more so than in years past. In 28 games this year, he has a goals-against average of 2.27 and a .929 save percentage. Jeff Glass and Anton Forsberg, in 16 games combined, have roughly a 3.42 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.
Crawford, on more nights than not, has kept the Blackhawks in games and managed to help them get at least a point in 18 of his 27 games started. He has also had to make more saves on a nightly basis considering the Blackhawks give up 33 shots a game, which is sixth most in the league.
