1. Vegas Golden Knights

After having an incredible December, the Golden Knights continued into the new year, going 3-1 so far.  They don’t play like an expansion team.  They play very much like their coach, Gerard Gallant, in his playing days.  They are fast on the puck and always are reeking havoc for opposing teams.

The goalie tandem of Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban continues to dominate.  In their last 10 games, they are 9-1 with a 1.80 goals-allowed average and a .940 save percentage.  Fans of the Golden Knights are letting it ride right now, as they should.  They definitely are the hottest team in the NHL right now.
