Dylan Sikura

Dylan Sikura has become a bit of a polarizing figure in his short tenure with the Blackhawks.

Sikura has the potential to become an effective Top 9 player, but he has struggled to find his way. If he can figure it out and put it all together, then we could be looking at a new weapon for the Blackhawks.

Sikura is currently a restricted free agent and is on the verge of wearing out his welcome in Chicago. He routinely finesses his way through traffic and creates scoring chances for teammates, but that hasn’t translated into production. In 2 seasons, Dylan Sikura has only managed to post 11 points (0G, 11A) with a rating in 33 games.

I fully expect the Blackhawks to sign Dylan Sikura to a one-year “prove it” deal. Let’s hope he takes advantage and we see an offensive explosion. If Sikura doesn’t capitalize this season, then he will find himself on a new team in 2020-21.
