The Chicago Blackhawks organization has had plenty of impressive rookies throughout its existence.

The Blackhawks have had a strong offseason and I see a new confidence with this team heading into the 2019-20 NHL season. Stan Bowman has brought in a few veterans along with some young, talented but unproven players.

Some of these unproven players are Dominik Kubalik, Nicolas BeaudinAnton Wedin, Aleksi Saarela, Philipp Kurashev, MacKenzie Entwistle, John Quenneville, etc. who are all trying to crack the NHL as rookies. Top prospects Kirby Dach and Adam Boqvist are also still in the mix.

This got me thinking of the Blackhawks’ rookies of the past. How does this season’s group stack up to other Blackhawks rookies throughout the team’s existence? Let’s dive in and take a look.
