Chicago Blackhawks: Alex DeBrincat is on a Legendary Pace

Alex DeBrincat
We wrap up the article with the Blackhawks’ newest young stud who is destined for greatness, Alex DeBrincat.
DeBrincat was overlooked in the 2016 NHL Draft mainly due to his shortcoming in the height department (5’7″). Since then, he has made rest of the league pay for passing on a player of his caliber.
In his first two seasons, DeBrincat has tallied 128 points (69G, 59A) with a 6 ± rating in 164 games. Last season was his coming-out party, as he posted a 41 goal season and made his first all-star appearance.
DeBrincat also has himself a mini-Larmer iron man streak going, as he hasn’t missed a game yet. His solid start has him on track to be an all-time great player for the Chicago Blackhawks.
I can’t wait to see what kind of progress he makes in 2019-20 and beyond. The Blackhawks have a legitimate star on their hands in Alex DeBrincat. Let’s hope Stan Bowman gets a new deal done for DeBrincat ASAP!
