Duncan Keith

Duncan Keith is not human, and 2015 showed that. If one player deserves to be on the Mount Rushmore for the 2010s’ it would be the Blackhawks top defensemen of this past decade. Keith has been a staple in Chicago for over the past 15 years, and he gets a lot of credit for his great play, but I think he deserves more.

I honestly believe that Keith might be the best defenseman in all of Blackhawks’ history. While he might not have the best offensive numbers, he is the backbone of this team. Keith has worked tirelessly in this past decade to make the Blackhawks the best they could be.

Keith has won three Stanley Cups, two Norris Trophies, and a Conn Smythe in one of the best playoff performances ever. I know the entire Mount Rushmore idea we are working with here is a little far fetched, but I am serious that Keith, along with everyone else on this list, deserves a statue at the United Center.
