2 – Some players are going to be returning from the injury list now ready to go

Calvin de Haan could be back on the blue line, Adam Boqvist is almost guaranteed to be ready to play after suffering an injury towards the end of the season. Two big players on the Blackhawks blue line are going to be back with the Blackhawks whenever the NHL does return to play and the postseason begins.

Just take a look at our predictions for the opening night roster, doesn’t that look like a better team than when we left it? I know that the chances of Brent Seabrook or even Andrew Shaw being ready to go whenever the NHL does return might be more on the slim to none side, but at the same time, those two guys can still be vocal in the locker room and help support the guys that are going to be going to war every night.

As long as players like de Haan and Boqvist are ready to go I think the Blackhawks are going to be in great shape. Our blue line is going to be one of the biggest factors, and making sure it is at 100 percent is going to make this series more competitive. Well, there is also one other X factor that we have not talked about a lot.
