First Takeaway: Corey Crawford is Still Here

Corey Crawford just kept getting better in this series. While he might have given up a few weak goals throughout this series. As the series went on, he kept improving his game. Last night he looked unstoppable as he stopped 43 of the 45 shots he faced.

The group in front of him did do their best to try and give Crawford the best opportunity possible to make a save, but they did still leave him hanging a few times. I remember a few plays where Crawford made some great saves last night, and honestly, I think without him the Blackhawks would not have won this game.

Crawford is the MVP of this game and this series in my book. I know how important Jonathan Toews and Dominik Kubalik have been, but without Crawford holding the high flying Edmonton Oilers to just two goals in this game, the Blackhawks would have had no chance for a victory.
