18 Tony Amonte

Tony Amonte spent nine years with the Chicago Blackhawks, during which he put up 268 goals and 273 assists in 627 games with the team. Amonte and the Blackhawks went to the playoffs five times during his time with the team, which included a deep run in 1995. Amonte ended up scoring 13 goals during the playoffs in all with Chicago.

The two year Blackhawks captain had a very successful career, but was his talent wasted in Chicago? Amonte played with a lot of great players in his Blackhawks’ uniform, and a lot of his teammates are on this list. While the 90s’ were not the most successful time for the Chicago Blackhawks, Amonte helped make the Blackhawks respectable.

17 Ed Belfour

Ed Belfour is the second Blackhawks goalie to show up on this list. The Hockey Hall of Fame member spent eight years with the Blackhawks from 1988 through 1996, and wow was he good with the team.

Belfour might be the best undrafted Blackhawk of all time. When he joined the Blackhawks in 1988 he was coming off taking the University of North Dakota to the NCAA Championship and winning it all. He joined the Blackhawks and helped take the team to some pretty far playoff runs.

Belfour ranks fourth all-time in wins for the Blackhawks with 201 and also fourth all-time in wins as a goalie with 484. While Belfour did not manage to win the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks, he did with the Dallas Stars in 1999.
