Team MVP: Alex DeBrincat

Alex DeBrincat did everything this past season. He killed penalties, was backchecking all over the ice, scored goals, was on the power play, and complemented Patrick Kane better than anyone has since Artemi Panarin. There is a lot to be excited about when it comes to DeBrincat and the Blackhawks.

It is crazy to think last season he was on the fourth line and couldn’t find a home in the lineup. Is this season that much different? or was it the coaching staff that didn’t utilize him in 2019-20?

Most Talked About: Nikita Zadorov

I mean, talking about a player doesn’t mean good or bad. Zadorov was as good as everyone kind of expected. He is a physical player something this team welcomes, but for Brandon Saad, that might not really be worth it.

It will be interesting to see what the team does with Zadorov this off-season. Do they choose to re-sign him? or do they look to free agency to find a few players to revamp the lineup?
