Henrik Borgstrom

Henrik Borgstrom is the most likely player on this list that we will see next season. Originally added via trade with the Florida Panthers, Borgstrom has the most NHL experience having played in 58 games already.

Borgstrom has a contract and should be ready for training camp this September. It will be interesting to see where he fits in the lineup. The young forward is currently listed as a center, but hopefully, he will also be able to play on the wing because this team already has a number of centermen.

If Borgstrom is looking to play in the NHL next season it is probably not going to be on the top line or as a centerman. He could be a great third line forward as he does have some size and skill. With Borgstrom and guys like Kurashev or Suter the Hawks definitely have a little more depth than they did in the past.

Borgstrom is probably not going to be a superstar, but he can be another great addition to the ensemble that is the Chicago Blackhawks. If he can have success with this new team then the Hawks are better off. However, it is important to note that this team does have a lot of similar guys looking to make a name for themselves, and there are only so many roster spots.
