3. Dallas bounces back.

This was not the year of the Stars. Dallas was not great in 2021. A year after going to the Stanley Cup Final and losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning they now find them out of the playoffs. Next season should be a bounce-back year. With Roope Hintz and Miro Heiskanen stepping up and taking on bigger roles along with Seguin and Benn their stars, this team will be ready to go.

Dallas should also benefit from not playing the same seven teams throughout the entire regular season. I think when they get to play other teams within their Central Division and also just around the league they will be able to win more games than they lose.

The playoff positioning in the Central is wide open, and in my mind, the Dallas Stars are going to be contending for a spot. They might even be a top-three team depending on how all things shake out.
