4 More Youth To The Blue Line

Caleb Jones is 24 years old, Riley Stillman is 23, Adam Boqvist is 20, Ian Mitchell is 22, Nicolas Beaudin is 21, and Wyatt Kalnyuk is 24. The young players in Chicago are dominating the blue line. Now it is going to be tough for the Blackhawks to decide which one of these players are going to be real NHL guys with the team, and which might be trade bait, but they will figure it out.

Bringing in Jones gives the Blackhawks more options, and that is what this is all about. In the past year alone the team has added a lot of young guys on this list. A year ago Kalnyuk, Jones, and Stillman were not even a part of this organization.

The team is betting on a few of these guys to work out, and even if none of them are that top elite defenseman, now they have the money to go out and pursue a top guy or two. Oh, they have more than just the money too, they have the brother to one of the best players on the market right now.
