Option Four:

Dominik Kubalik – Jonathan Toews – Patrick Kane

The nuclear option brings together three of the team’s best forwards into one powerhouse line. Now the reason this won’t happen is similar to why I am not suggesting a DeBrincat – Johnson – Kane line. That line would be too small and too offensive, while this line would just bring together too much of the team’s top talent.

Chicago needs to pair Toews and Kane apart this coming season because they do not have the talent to put together the rest of a top-six and a decent bottom-six without the two apart. Kane makes everyone he plays with better, and that is why pairing him with Toews would just limit another player who could potentially be with Kane.

It will be interesting to see who the Hawks decide to pair with Kubalik and Toews. I hope it is someone that can drive to the net and score some pretty goals from great passes from the two playmakers.

If Toews is back hopefully he and Kubalik can pick off right where they left off together chemistry-wise.
