Blackhawks coach from 2009-2019

The most successful coach in franchise history has to be Joel Quenneville. Coach Q is not ranked number one in wins with this franchise, but he is number one in playoff wins and championships.

The core of the Blackhawks championship era with Toews and Kane will all have to get some type of banner together when their playing careers are all over, but the coach also deserves some recognition from that era as well.

Coach Quenneville was one of those missing pieces that made the Blackhawks a winning destination in hockey. His coaching style and ability to adapt in a playoff series was something that made the team so successful throughout his run with the team.

Coach Q will always have a home in Chicago, and his success with the team puts him number one on this list. When I think of Quenneville the only question that comes to mind is how could Stan Bowman give up the second-most winningest coach in NHL history?

"The Jersey Numbers Never Worn in Blackhawks History"

The Blackhawks have had a lot of great coaches throughout their run as an NHL franchise. It will be interesting to see where the team goes from here. Does Colliton find a way to make this team a contender? Or does the franchise add a 39th coach to the list in the next season or two? Time will tell.
