The Chicago Blackhawks season begins next month.

This season cannot come soon enough. The expectations for the Chicago Blackhawks have not been higher the past few years under Jeremy Colliton. This team should be a fun bunch to watch as a new era of Blackhawks hockey begins under players like Seth Jones and Alex DeBrincat at the forefront.

This season is going to have a lot of fun storylines to pay attention to. Let’s dive in and talk about all of them with today’s post highlighting ten different storylines to watch this season. First on the list has to be about Debrincat.

1. Can the DeBrincat hot streak continue?

The future face of the Blackhawks offense has to be Alex DeBrincat. He was the steal of the 2016 NHL draft and he was someone the Blackhawks were lucky to add into their organization. DeBrincat is coming off a great season, but the issue is that the team needs him to stay at that level or get even better.

DeBrincat has not been the most consistent player in the past. He struggled in 2019-20 before turning things around this past season. If the Hawks can get a guy that can lead their team for years to come offensively then DeBrincat is going to be a great player for many years.

It will be interesting to watch how DeBrincat does this season, as he is still only 23 and has a lot of hockey ahead of him.
