4. Fleury Ready For Battle

Marc-Andre Fleury is the reigning Vezina Trophy winner. He is a future hall of fame goalie and a three-time Stanley Cup Champion. After riding three rookie goalies this past season, having a proven winner in the net will be good for the team.

Fleury gives the Hawks stability, which is something they really did not have last season. Lankinen, Subban, and Delia all had bad games here and there last year. The team really did not know what they were going to get out of those three netminders, but with Fleury, they now know where they stand.

He is not going to give up too many weak goals in a game, and if the team has a one-goal lead late in the game they can count on him to do his best to hold on for the win. Fleury had to split the net last year with Robin Lehner in Vegas, this season he won’t be splitting it that much as he is the clear pick to start the season over Lankinen, obviously, things could change based on how the first few games go, but to begin the year Fleury is the guy in Chicago!
