2. Henrik Borgstrom
The Chicago Blackhawks added Henrik Borgstrom last season during a trade with the Florida Panthers. Now he seems to be NHL bound as he is a clear pick to make the team, but the only issue is some other young players like Lukas Reichel have looked impressive.
The difference is Borgstrom has spent some time in the NHL already while Reichel is a little younger and less experienced. If Borgstrom does make the team he is an interesting pick to be a top six guy on this team. The Hawks need someone alongside Kubalik and Toews, maybe Borgstrom is that guy this season.
3. Alex Nylander:
I am pairing two players that are going to be competing a little throughout the preseason here. Alex Nylander is not in the same position he once was. The team has more talent compared to the last time he played and now his position might not be here anymore unless he earns it.
Personally I think Nylander will be in the opening night lineup, but whether or not he is in the top six or on the fourth line depends on how he does during the preseason. Hopefully he can score two or three goals during the preseason and get some eyes on him ahead of the season beginning in October.
