The Chicago Blackhawks are hoping Seth Jones is the real deal with this team.

The Hawks traded for Seth Jones this offseason and they traded a lot to acquire him. Prospects, picks, and even the future in Adam Boqvist were all dealt to get Seth Jones from the Blue Jackets. While I still believe that is the right move, now is the time Jones gets to prove it himself.

How Seth Jones plays tonight sets the tone for the season. This will be the first time we see him in a Hawks jersey and I am excited to see this fanbase get behind their new face of the team.

Jones will be suiting up alongside Jake McCabe as well, another interesting player to keep an eye on tonight. McCabe missed a lot of last season with an injury so how he looks this year will be important, plus a lot of people would rather see Murphy with McCabe so this will be a time the two can prove us wrong there.

Puck drop is at 7:30 tonight between these two teams and the only other thing I have to add is go Hawks!
