2019-20 Season: Away Start Against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Blackhawks started the 2019-20 season on the road overseas playing the Flyers for the first game of the season. This would end the win streak of the past two years and would instead feature a 4-3 loss to the Flyers.

The first goal of the season for the Hawks belonged to Alex Nylander in 2019-20. Yep, the same Alex Nylander that is struggling to make the NHL lineup this season. The Hawks did give Nylander a heck of a look in 2019-20 as he played in the top six through most of his games.

Nylander would end the year with ten goals and six assists through 65 games. The goal by Nylander was also assisted by Patrick Kane, who usually gets involved on opening night. Nylander as the first goal scorer of the season is a bad representation of the roster for that season, but the next season is even worse.
