Jujhar Khaira

Jujhar Khaira is not the biggest name on this list by any means. The big forward has 14 hits through the first five games he has played in and he has been a physical threat at times. But he also is taking a roster spot from some young forward on this team.

Guys like Reese Johnson and Mackenzie Entwistle had a great training camp, but Khaira and guys like Ryan Carpenter are taking their spots in the NHL. Khaira is on a two-year contract so sending him to a team that could use one final element in their bottom six could workout later in the season.

If the lineup is struggling to score Khaira definitely is not the answer as his most productive season came in 2017-18 when he put up 11 goals. The Blackhawks need offense, and Khaira is not the answer there. He is ideal for a playoff team that needs some physicality though.

The Chicago Blackhawks’ next game is on Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. If the lousy play from the team continues then changes may be coming for the Hawks.
