The Chicago Blackhawks Second Untouchable: Alex DeBrincat

Alex DeBrincat is the future face of the Chicago Blackhawks. The young forward is only 23 years old and has already spent five years with the team and will play in his 300th NHL game this month.

DeBrincat is the future captain of the Blackhawks, and once he gets his next contract I think it is safe to say he could be the highest-paid forward on this team. DeBrincat hopefully will have a long and successful career with the Blackhawks, and the same way Kane is passing milestones right now, I think DeBrincat is the likely pick to lead the team in goals when his career is over.

DeBrincat is the sniper this team has been missing. Drafted in the second round, he was a steal for the franchise and once he starts scoring more and more goals this season I think he is going to lead the team in goals this year as well.

DeBrincat’s extension hopefully is the first thing the new general manager works on this offseason when the Hawks find their full-time person for the job.
