The Chicago Blackhawks Third Untouchable: Seth Jones

Seth Jones has a lot of time to figure this out in Chicago. The Blackhawks have him signed for a long, long time. So the two parties are going to spend a lot of time winning or losing. The team has a top defenseman to build around.

I know some are still skeptical about whether or not Jones is the guy this team needs, but he is the guy the team has no general manager is going to be willing to trade for Jones for a price the Blackhawks would be needing them to pay.

Jones will be with the Blackhawks for the foreseeable future, while the other two players are untouchables because they are the best of the best. This one is more based on his contract, but Jones still can be that guy for the team.

I am not going to forget about how good Seth Jones was during the 2019 playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and he is always a hardworking defenseman that can get involved offensively. Maybe with the teams, next coach the defensive issues so far will get figured out as well.
