I thought I would get into the Christmas spirit by writing a Chicago Blackhawks version of the twelve days of Christmas. Here it is.

• Two Conn Symthe Winners are Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews.
• Three Swedish men are : Marcus Kruger, Johnny Oduya, Niklas Hjalmarrsson.
• Stan Mikita won four Art Ross Trophies. The Art Ross Trophy goes to the scoring leader.
• Six Retired Jerseys: Glenn Hall, Keith Magnuson, Pierre Pilote, Bobby Hull, Denis Savard, Stan Mikita, Tony Esposito. I know everyone has 99 retired for Wayne Gretzky, but he wasn’t on the  Blackhawks.
• Eight Calder Trophy winners: Mike Karakas, Carl Dahlstrom, Ed Litzenberger, William Hay, Tony Esposito, Steve Larmer, Ed Belfour, and Patrick Kane.
• There are eleven Blackhawks on the current roster from Canada. They are Bryan Bickell, Sheldon Brookbank, Corey Crawford, Duncan Keith, Michael Kostka, Jason LaBarbera, Brent Seabrook, Patrick Sharp, Andrew Shaw, Jonathan Toews, and Kris Versteeg.
• Tom Fitzgerald played for the Blackhawks in 2001-02 for 15 games. He wore number 12 for the Blackhawks. I also share the same last name as Tom.
