Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are back to their winning ways, and the reason everything seems back to normal is probably due to the play of their Captain Jonathan Toews

The Chicago Blackhawks won all but one game in the month of February, and you can thank Jonathan Toews for that if you ask me.

Of course Toews didn’t do it alone, and he can actually thank the play of Nick Schmaltz and Richard Panik who have played very good as well in February for the rebirth of Toews season.

The Captain has gelled with his linemates very nicely, and it’s like watching a totally different Schmaltz this month compared to the guy we watched skate at the beginning of the year on one of the bottom two lines.

The play of Toews has opened up the ice for everyone else which makes the Hawks “second line” that more dangerous when they aren’t facing the #1 defensive pairing night in and night out.  Now head coaches around the NHL have to decide which line they want to try and eliminate or at least slow down.

The Hawks will be looking to make another statement on Wednesday night when the defending Stanley Cup Champions visit the United Center.

Of course there will be former and current Hart Trophy winners on the ice as well trying to make a claim on this year’s prize so expect a great game tomorrow night.
