Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! For three straight days the Chicago Blackhawks prospects have taken to the ice at Johnny’s Ice House.  The one thing everyone has said is that Alex DeBrincat is not impressive past the Halfway point of the week.

There are only two days left in prospect camp, and as much as I have missed hockey and the Chicago Blackhawks, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen enough of the prospects doing drills to last me until training camp.

Let’s be honest, drills are boring to do as a player, and they are even more boring to watch as a spectator!

So it’s amazing how many professional scouts there are that have poo pooed on Alex DeBrincat already.  Yes, he’s only 19 and it’s a lot to ask of a teenager to make the team.

There have been a lot of players that I’ve seen on tape that looks good, but I will wait to say who I like until the scrimmage takes place on Friday.

More from Blackhawks News

Anyone can look good one on one, and anyone can look bad one on one, but it takes skill to find the open ice with the ability to finish when it’s 5 on 5 whether it’s a scrimmage or a game.

I do want to give a shout out to Aaron Goldschmidt our Blackhawk Up writer who has been at the last two days of prospect camp. If you follow us on Twitter, he’s been sending the pics from camp and he’s done a great job just like Sean Fitzgerald has done in years past.

Two days left, what are you looking forward to seeing today?
