Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawk dominated the Winnipeg Jets Thursday night which begs to ask, is it time to believe again in the Blackhawks.

If you are asking why to believe, I think the biggest stats to look at is they are out shooting their opponents on a regular basis, and if they don’t it’s because of one bad period out of three in each game.

Another reason to start getting excited is the fact that their depth guys like Tommy Wingels and Lance Bouma have found their niche and are pretty good finds for bottom line players.

Still looking for excitement has to be the entirety of Alex DeBrincat‘s game.  Not only does he have a scorers mentality, but he plays a 200 foot game and his defense is way better than I ever expected.

Lastly, Patrick Kane is hovering around a point a game as usual, but he hasn’t seemed like he’s gone on one of his dominant streaks where he carries the team for a week or two.

If you are still in the mirage camp, one of the things that would be bothering me is the fact that Jonathan Toews and Brandon Saad aren’t clicking like everyone expected.  This has to improve on a nightly basis for the team to succeed long term.

Another thing is the play of Richard Panik.  He hasn’t played very good all year long and now finds a seat in the pressbox while the Hawks are winning.

Lastly, it feels like Corey Crawford has carried the Chicago Blackhawks all season long, and what if his game starts to slide? This is my biggest concern right now.

What do you think? Are you believing in the Chicago Blackhawks once again.
