This was a crazy weekend in NHL games. There were many former Hawks lighting the lamp this weekend and adding helpers. There were six goals and eight assists tallied by former Hawks this weekend. There was a game with over 300 penalty minutes, several shoot out games (don’t get me started), and several no shows. Oh and the goal tending by former feather heads wasn’t too stellar either. There is enough for you to read so I’ll stop here, hope you had a good weekend and enjoy!

Andrew Ladd – Atlanta
18:43 TOI, two goals (18,19) 4 PIM, eight shots
Laddy’s first goal was a hell of a defensive and then hustle play, which I miss so much this season. His second goal was a really nice break away as well with a great deke on Ward flipping the puck with a nice forehand backhand move. Both goals were unassisted. He got a little help on the second one when McBain misplayed the puck. With his two goals last night he has set a new career high with 19, and surpasses last years total of 17. Great job Ladd, you are missed.
Brent Sopel – Atlanta
13:56 TOI
Jack Skille – Florida
19:37 TOI
Getting more time on ice as a Panther but hasn’t done shit with it yet. Couldn’t even muster up a shot with nearly twenty minutes of ice time… Now I see why Bartl didn’t like him…
