The Entire Stanley Cup First Round Schedule & TV Listings

The NHL has released the first round playoff schedule. Here is the Western Conference playoff schedule:

The Colorado Avalanche vs. the Minnesota Wild is the first matchup.  Game 1 and Game 2 will be Colorado.

  1. Game 1 is on Thursday at 9:30pm ET on CNBC.
  2. Game 2 is April 19th at 9:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  3. Game 3 will be played in Minnesota on Monday April 21st at 7:00pm ET on the NHL Network.
  4. Game 4 will be played on Thursday April 24th at 9:30pm ET on CNBC.
  5. Game 5 if necessary will be played in Colorado on Saturday April 26th on TBD.
  6. Game 6 would be played in Minnesota if necessary on Monday April 28th.
  7. Game 7 if necessary will be played in Colorado on Wednesday April 30th on TBD.

The Blackhawks vs. the St. Louis Blues will play in the first round.

  1. Game 1 will be in St. Louis on Thursday, April 17th at 8:00pm ET. Game 1 can be seen on NBCSN
  2. Game 2 will take place in St. Louis Saturday April 19th at 3:00pm ET time. Game 2 can be seen on NBC. Game 3 and 4 will be played in Chicago.
  3. Game 3 will be seen on Monday 21st at 8:30pm ET on CNBC.
  4. Game 4 will be seen on Wednesday April 23rd at 9:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  5. If necessary Game 5 will be played in St. Louis on Friday April 25th at 8:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  6. If necessary Game 6 will be played in Chicago at 3:00pm ET on NBC.
  7. Game 7 will be played in St. Louis on Tuesday April 29th, on TBD.

The Anaheim Ducks will take on the Dallas Stars in the first round. Game 1 and Game 2 will be played in Anaheim.

  1. Game 1 is on April 16th at 10:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  2. Game 2 is on April 18th at 10:00pm ET on NBCSN. Game 3 and Game 4 will take place in Dallas.
  3. Game 3 is on Monday April 21st at 9:30pm ET.
  4. Game 4 is on April 23rd at 8:00pm ET on CNBC.
  5. Game 5 if necessary is on April 25th at 10:30 pm ET on NBCSN.  Game 5 is in Anaheim.
  6. Game 6 will take place in Dallas on April 27th on TBD.
  7. Game 7 will take place on Tuesday April 29th in Anaheim on and TBD.

The San Jose Sharks take on the LA Kings in the first round. Game 1 and Game 2 will take place in San Jose.

  1. Game 1 is on Thursday April 17 at 10:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  2. Game 2 is on April 20th at 10:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  3. Game 3 and Game 4 is LA.Game 3 is on Tuesday April 22nd at 10:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  4. Game 4 is on Thursday April 24th at 10:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  5. Game 5 if necessary will be on Saturday April 26th in San Jose. Time and station are TBD.
  6. Game 6 if necessary will be LA on Monday April 28th. Time and Station are TBD.
  7. Game 7 if necessary will take place in San Jose on Wednesday April 30th. Time and Station are TBD.

That concludes the Western Conference first round Matchups, now onto the Eastern Conference Full NHL schedule:

The Boston Bruins will take on the Detroit Red Wings in the first round. The first two games will take place in Boston.

  1. Game 1 is on Friday April 18th at 7:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  2. Game 2 is on Sunday April 20th at 3:00pm ET on NBC.
  3. Game 3 and 4 will be played in Detroit.  Game 3 is on Tuesday April 22nd at 7:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  4. Game 4 is on Thursday April 24th at 8:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  5. Game 5 if necessary will be in Boston on Saturday April 26th at 3:00pm ET. Game 5 can be seen on NBC.
  6. Game 6 if necessary will be played in Detroit on Monday April 28th.
  7. Game 7 will be played in Boston on April 30th if necessary.

The next matchup is the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. the Montreal Canadiens.

  1. Game 1 and 2 will be played in Tampa Bay. Game 1 is on Wednesday April 16th at 7:00pm ET on CNBC.
  2. Game 2 is on Friday April 18th at 7:00pm ET on CNBC.
  3. Game 3 and Game 4 will be played in Montreal. Game 3 is on Sunday April 20th at 7:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  4. Game 4 is on Tuesday April 22nd at 7:00pm ET on NHL Network.
  5. Game 5 if necessary is on Thursday April 24th at 7:00pm ET on CNBC.
  6. Game 6 if necessary will be in Montreal on Sunday April 27th.
  7. Game 7 if necessary will be in Tampa Bay on Tuesday April 29th.

The next series is the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets.

  1. Game 1 and Game 2 will be played in Pittsburgh. Game 1 is on Wednesday April 16th at 7:30pm ET on NBCSN.
  2. Game 2 is on Friday April 19th at 7:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  3. Game 3 and Game 4 is in Columbus. Game 3 is on Monday April 21st at 7:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  4. Game 4 is on April 23rd at 7:00pm ET on NBCSN.
  5. Game 5 if necessary will be played in Pittsburgh on Saturday April 26th.
  6. Game 6 if necessary will be played in Columbus on Monday April 28th.

The last series in the East is the New York Rangers vs. the Philadelphia Flyers.

  1. Game 1 and Game 2 will be played in New York. Game 1 is on Thursday April 17th at 7:00pm ET on CNBC.
  2. Game 2 is on Sunday April 20th at 12:00pm ET on NBC.
  3. Game 3 and Game 4 is Philadelphia. Game 3 is on April 22nd at 8:00pm ET on CNBC.
  4. Game 4 is Friday April 25th at 7:00pm ET on CNBC.
  5. Game 5 if necessary is in New York on Sunday April 27th at 12:00pm ET. The game can be seen on NBC.
  6. Game 6 if necessary is in Philadelphia on Tuesday April 29th.
