The first period was not filled with much excitement from the Blackhawks. They mustered a miserable three shots on goal in the first, which included a powerplay.
#Blackhawks back to playing poorly on the road, at least for one period. 0-0 but outshot by #Oilers 11-3 & had a terrible power play.
— Brian Hedger (@BrianHedger) November 19, 2015
The second period was a different story for both teams. The Blackhawks finally got their act together on the powerplay.
Reinhart for boarding on Shaw at 7:09. #Blackhawks power play, where they could just get a shot. Who knows?!

THEY SCORE!!!! Duncan Keith with the redirect off the insane pass from Kane. ITS A POWER PLAY GOAL and a 1-0 #Blackhawks lead.

The Blackhawks did not waste time scoring again.

Panarin is the best player to join the Blackhawks in a long time!

Kane and Panarin with the assists on Keith's PPG. Kane's now on a 14-game point streak, which ties his career-long. #Blackhawks

The Oilers responded quickly themselves.

The Blackhawks coaching staff has been looking for secondary scoring. Andrew Shaw provided that scoring tonight with a third-period goal.
Shaw whiffed, and scored on the second try.

The Blackhawks and Oilers provided their fans with bonus hockey. The Oilers had a great chance early in the OT period. But the Blackhawks responded with a great chance of their own, and Marian Hossa certainly didn’t miss.
Pat Foley: "Call the cops!" What a save by Corey Crawford. Wow. #HawksTalk
