Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! It’s All-Star Sunday which means we get to see Patrick Kane work his magic once again on the Nashville Predators home ice at the Bridgestone Arena where he’s done some serious damage.

The All-Star game of course this year has built up some serious momentum from the entire John Scott controversy which is really not a controversy, but if having Scott’s name the NHL and hockey in the national media, I’m all for it.  The NHL has been discussed on ESPN’s PTI for not only John Scott‘s appearance for days now, they also have discussed how ridiculous it is for the NHL to suspend Alex Ovechkin and Jonathan Toews for a game because they are missing the festivities.

If you have watched the previous All-Star games you know how much Ovechkin and Toews enjoy themselves so missing the game has to hurt them a lot so getting a suspension is ridiculous in my mind.

The best part of the All-Star game festivities is knowing that the entire Chicago Blackhawks roster is resting and getting ready for the rest of their 2nd half schedule which is exactly what the doctor ordered if you watched the last 4 games before the break.

It’s All-Star Saturday, hope you like the 3 on 3 tourney, and I hope you like this morning links to kick off your Sunday morning.
